Ever feel overwhelmed by it all? Have you been told to exercise, but you’re not sure what to do or how to do it? Do you ever tire of hearing others tell you about what you should or should not do?

Diabetes Training Camp Foundation is proud to announce our exciting program built specifically for people living with Type 2 diabetes.

Diabetes Training Camp’s Type 2 Boot Camp combines educational lectures, fitness sessions, community building and nutrition learning over three days. Campers will learn to focus on the opportunity for health, longevity and success as together we build strategies and a plan to achieve a healthy lifestyle. We’ll offer solutions for overcoming the obstacles on the pathway to success, and attendees will be empowered to remove the barriers to being able to ‘live the life they want to live.’

Fitness and exercise are a cornerstone of success, and attendees will learn to define fitness, understand how to achieve greater fitness and appropriate goal setting and attain the necessary skills to assess progress, whether they are brand new to exercise or alredy have an established exercise routine.

Emphasis will be placed on the small steps that will have tremendous impact. Campers will learn that goals are very realistic, attainable and achievable, and small steps can lead to great rewards. Work with the DTC team to help you get where you want to be and give yourself what you deserve -- the gift of control over your diabetes and your health.

Each day includes: fitness sessions (indoor cycling, pool workouts and general fitness), educational lectures from experts in diabetes, nutritional coaching, community time and the latest information on management strategies.

A Typical Camp:

  • Friday morning through Sunday afternoon
    • Friday and Saturday: Camp runs from 7:00 am to early evening
    • Sunday: Camp runs from 7:00 am to late afternoon
  • Run by DTC founder and president Dr. Matthew Corcoran and his team of experts
  • All attendees will have the opportunity to exercise with our trainers. (We can accommodate ALL fitness levels.)
